Our rooms are based at our Café, Blas, in the small village of Dunvegan, near Dunvegan castle. Parking is in the nearby free public carpark, although there is ample space at the front door to stop and unload luggage, before parking the car. Our rooms have free wifi, and books on the local area, but no televisions.Although there are board games to while away the hours, and each with a radio with a list of the local stations available. We are a ten minute walk from the town centre where all the bars and restaurants are situated. We have ample free parking. All of our rooms are en-suite, have tea and coffee making facilities, a 32" smart TV and free Superfast Broadband. All rooms and public areas have hardwired smoke detectors and have central heating. The Dunvegan Castle and the village of Dunvegan is 4 miles away. We have outstanding views of Macleods Table's, Loch Dunvegan, The Minch and The Outer Hebrides. Glorious sunsets and sunrises can be seen all from your chalet and its own fenced off garden area. There is plenty of birdlife, sealife and wildlife to be seen on our croft and the surrounding areas. Come and stay with us, join in with the croft, help gather the sheep, watch shearing and dosing, stay at lambing time and help, make your stay on the Isle of Skye memorable. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you in our family home on Sleat, the Garden Peninsula of Skye. Morar is a large, inviting house with its own croft running down to the seashore. Our south-facing terrace and guest lounge have expansive sea views over the Sound of Sleat to the sands of Morar. We have four comfortable ensuite guest rooms: a family, double, twin and a single room. The large guest lounge has an open fire to warm you on cool evenings and we have a heated indoor swimming pool should you want a warmer dip than the sea! Go otter-spotting on the shore, or help find where the chickens have hidden their eggs, or just relax and watch the sun set on the mountains of Knoydart over the sea. The accommodation has a wood burning stove & electric wall heater. Wood is provided free of charge. The sitting area is open to the kitchen. There is a stair to the bedroom area where the beds can be made into a twin room or a super king sized. Please let me know. We also have Duirinish Bothy that has a full sized double bed and sleeps two. The Bothy is aimed to be more affordable accommodation and doesn’t have a Hot Tub. There is a cafe in the village that is only a few minutes walk. Duirinish also has a request stop train station that is a 10min walk.
