A perfect few days in beautiful accommodation on a stunning island! Boat transfer was fun - Gus was very helpful and interesting. House was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Cannot wait to return!

Great location and fantastic atmosphere. The cottage is well appointed. We have been travelling for 5 months and the Lighthouse Cottage is certainly one of the best accommodations we have stayed in. Had four seasons of weather but this added to character of our stay. Staying at this incredible location is unique. Thoroughly recommended.
Tips:Although we did not walk to the mainland, it is easy to do. The location on the small island provides enough to do, by walking around and checking out the wildlife, saw a seal. Watched fishing boats go by. It is a great place to relax. And, what's better - no TV.

This was a lovely cottage and we very much enjoyed our stay, indeed it was the highlight of our holiday on the West Coast. Our only complaint is that there wasn't enough hot water. We were 5 adults and a 2year old. It was showers later in the day when people had been swimming or paddle boarding that were difficult. We did hit boost a couple of times but that only gave enough for one shower. Bath time in the evening had to be supplemented with water from the kettle. It may have been related to the leaking pump on the cylinder or maybe the timings on the controller aren't right. Hopefully easy to fix. Otherwise we wish we had booked for longer.

Spectacular location. Very well equipt to cook. Just to let you know one of the ovens doesn't work. Both sets of dinner plates are too tall for the dishwasher.
Tips:You can walk over to the pub but you need to be sure footed and need wellies.
