This was my favorite place I stayed during my Scotland trip. Thank you Colin for being so helpful before and during my stay, giving me directions to the pod and information about the surrounding areas and dinner. The pod is so comfortable, cozy, and warm. I wish I had been able to stay longer.

Listen to Colin and book a reservation at the Inn in the village. It is a walkable distance, great atmosphere, and can be difficult to get in if you don't make a reservation.

Far more than we expected with all the amenities we like. Host greeted us upon arrival and was welcoming and informative. View is outstanding especially in the am.

Meals are available at the nearby inn or back closer to the Skye bridge. We weren't on Skye long enough to offer many more suggestions.

The pod was very clean. Location great (especially proximity to ferry). Pod not really lacking anything. Overall, it was great.

We went to the The Inn at Àird a’ Bhàsair (https://the-inn-at-aird-a-bhasair.co.uk/) for dinner and that was great as well.

Beautiful and well-equipped glamping pod. The host, Colin, was friendly and informative, with helpful advice about ways to find the best parts of Skye and avoid the crowds. Lovely views - we enjoyed watching the Mallaig-Armadale ferry plying across the Sound between Skye and mainland Scotland as we ate breakfast. The cosy armchairs were perfect for relaxing in, after a day of exploring.

The nearby Armadale Castle, with its atmospheric ruins, museum, café and gardens, was well worth a visit. The Camasunary walk was a delight, with wonderful views, gushing waterfalls and mounds of purple heather. We took the old manually operated turntable ferry on the way home. Great fun, amazing scenery and we were rewarded with sights of seals, herons and sea eagles.

Colin met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. All was as advertised and it was very comfortable!

We only spent night. Take heed to what Colin says about making reservations before hand. All local were booked. We went a bit further and had a nice dinner in Broadford at The Claymore. They do not take reservations and it was fantastic!

The pod is amazing : great equipment everything we needed was inside. The location is really great : wonderful view and really close to the ferry terminal (nice walk of 20 minutes). The host is really nice and gives very useful advice. We highly recommend this place.

We wanted to visit Armadale castle but it was too late. Last entry is around 3 pm, if you want to visit it keep this in mind :-)

Very cute pod, cozy, well maintained and super clean.. very friendly and warm welcome by owner, we even had fresh milk in the fridge, a nice gesture. Would book anytime again and spend more time in the area.

There is j’me restaurant 3 minute walk, nice fresh fish and good selection of different plates, nice local scotch options.

Colin and Sue made me very welcome and Colin helped me with some walks I could do in the surrounding area. The Pod itself was absolutely delightful as it had everything I needed for my 5 night stay there. I could come and go as I pleased but I knew I would always be made welcome in their home if I needed anything. Can't wait to go back and I have already told others about it. Thanks again.

If you are into hill walking, this is one of the best places to stay. I did 4 days of kayaking with South Skye Sea kayaking just 3 miles along the road and 4 days of hillwalking. There is so much to explore on Skye you could never be done walking or paddling. The local pub and restaurant are about a 5-minute walk from the pod but you have to book as it gets very busy.

Very friendly and courteous hosts. We stayed there with two adultes and two children. Everything we needed was there. And it was such a nice view from there. We are happy to stay and had a lovely time. Thanks to the wonderful host.

Just relax in that beautifull place. In Broadford is an Restaurant called Cafe Sia. If you go to the other direction then you have some more nice views and a beach and the end of the road after a little walk.

This small village was so peaceful, the pod location is close to the ocean, it has the most beautiful view. A number of attractions close enough to drive to.

We found the bed to be too small and 1 pillow too low but 2 was too high. Need new pillows for older people like us! Also a shelf above the left side of the bed and bigger or more shelves in the bathroom would make it more comfortable when staying for longer. Otherwise it was brilliant.

Arrange to hire a car from Mcgillivrays in Armadale (DriveSkye) to get the most out of your visit. (Will meet you at the ferry)

Beautiful location and very friendly hosts. We were travelling around Scotland by motorcycle and this was our first nights stop. The location was so unique, peaceful, and stunning it was just what we needed after a long day. The pod has everything you really need and we both had the best night sleep.

The local pub food was great. However, make sure you book in advance as they would not even accept our booking earlier then requested

Had a wonderful, warm welcome from Colin, who even told me about some local walks to enjoy during my stay. The pod was really cozy and comfortable, with some great views of the mainland. It was very well kitted out - clearly a lot of thought had gone into it! My only disappointment would be that I'd only booked for one night! Next time if like to stay a few days!

The pod was quite big with lot of space considering its size. The wooden terrace is a great added value. The equipment was great with all you need to heat, cook and eat. Quiet place with great view. Our host was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful regarding the directions or places to see or where to eat. I stayed only one night but would have liked to stay longer. My very best pod experience so far

Only one restaurant nearby, the food and service are excellent and a wide choice of dishes and drinks. Consider booking in advance as even if it was not full when we arrived, it can quickly be fully booked. Nice place also for a walk.

A nice welcome by the owner Colin. Gave us all the information we need before arriving to the pod. The pod itself is very cozy and has a lot of furniture for a pod (we have pod’s in Canada and some are more simple let’s say). Everything was super clean (dishes, bathroom, bed). The only thing traveller should know, the bed is not very big (it’s a small double side bed). Me and my wife had a good sleep, but there were not a lot a place to move/turn around. The rest was perfect! If you happen to go near the village of Ardvasar, think about renting this pod!

Colin was easy to communicate with VIa email to help answer any question we had about our stay and offer many ideas of things to see and do while in the area.

The Ardvasar Inn was a short walk away from our stay and provided us with one of the best meals we had in Scotland.

The hosts are so so friendly and welcoming it was amazing. The house is absolutely beautiful and the guest bedroom is exactly what we needed. We had a two night stay and it definitely helped us unwind. The bathroom is absolutely incredible. The location is a tad far from the main attractions of Skye but we enjoyed the driving and at this price there is literally no fuss to be made. We have already said we would return. They also have a really friendly pooch which made me so happy.

Watch for the otters down by the coastline near this property and keep an eye out for deer running across the road on all roads on Skye, this happened 3 times to us in two days.

Very very easy to get to from ferry, would highly recommend if you are at the end of a long journey. Nice for an evening stroll, inn at the aird a short walk away. The roads in this area were excellent and very easy to travel around. Easy location to explore the rest of the island too

Host very easy to deal with and offering lots of advice. Beautifully decorated pod with everything you will need inside and a lovely deck to sit on outside to take in the fabulous view. The pod sits in a very peaceful location with local amenities. Highly recommended.

The pod is near Armadale Pier so well connected for ferry and bus connections. There is a cafe and gift shops at the pier. Also in Armadale is the fabulous community shop with foodie treats and basic shopping needs as well as an environmentally friendly scoop shop type arrangement. The pub at The Inn at Ardvassar is a lovely spot and a couple of minutes walk away. For a car free day Armadale Castle and woods are nearby but we took a walk to the Point of Sleat and the silvery sandy beach which was amazing in the Skye sunshine.
