19th September 2024:
Our hosts went out of their way to welcome us to their beautiful home - on learning that one of us liked Earl Grey tea, Joan shopped for some for our 2nd morning breakfast.
Tips:The house looks across to mainland Scotland where the Torridon mountains will look spectacular in the evening sun or with a snowcap. Staffin stores, the dinosaur beach, , the Quirang and Rubba Hunish are all situated within two or three miles, and together would keep you busy for a day or two.

21st August 2024:
Very friendly host family, amazing view, in a phantastic landscape, new and high level accomodation, home made Scottish breakfast. We would like to come back in the future. Thanks for all!
Tips:The B&B is some miles away from the next village. A nearby Hotel/Restaurant for dinner is much (too) expensive. Therefore it is recommended to look for a possibility to have dinner before you get to the B&B.

We loved staying here with Charlie and Joan. They are wonderful hosts. Our room was comfortable with ensuite bathroom. Nice living area with views of ocean. Great Scottish breakfasts. We liked being outside of any city in the country. Not really far from anything on the Trotternish Peninsula. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Recommend it.
Tips:Recommend the dinosaur museum, walks along the ocean, and the Skye Museum of Island Life. Scenery is dramatic almost everywhere.

29th May 2024:
Charlie and Joan made us very welcome in their comfortable B&B and We had a lovely stay with them. The location is slightly further from Portree than we would have ideally liked but this was more than made up for by the spectacular views - it just required a little journey planning when daytime sightseeing or considering evening entertainment.
Tips:Look out for the yellow sign for Flodigarry Pods to find the property. The croft museum (about 7 miles north) was well worth a visit.

Loved every minute of my stay with you. You were so very kind and welcoming, thank you. This was my first pod experience; the quality and standard was exceptional.
Tips:Skye is a beautiful island. I originally intended to tour on my own, however, I booked a one day tour with Real Scotland. It was great and I highly recommend it. Couple of other recommendations - the coffee shop next to Taliskers distillery is great as is cafe Lephin. Also drive the Quiraing - views are stunning!

Tips:The Colomba 1400 is a great place for a healthy and affordable meal. Behind the place there’s a lovely path for a nice walk.

5th October 2023:
A stunning new build bungalow with a light, airey, modern, luxury & yet very cozy feel. The seaviews from the high-ceiling, glass-fronted apex windows in the guest room (where a delicious, hearty breakfast is served) is unrivalled & the log-burner is lit for you to relax in the evenings. Owners Joan & Charlie were delightful & nothing was too much trouble for them. A perfect place to stay on Skye!
Tips:Too many amazing sights to list here but don't miss: Kilt Rock & Mealt Falls, Lealt Falls from viewing platform before you enter main car park (we missed it the first time), Neist Point (& Lighthouse) & the Quiraing!

23rd September 2023:
Our hosts were so lovely and generous with us. We had a couple of late nights and they were sure to check in with us to be sure we were ok. One evening in, they made sure we had a lovely fire during a rainstorm while we read. Breakfasts were great and you can tell they care about what they do. The house is new, well appointed and quite comfortable. Lovely views, lovely people and lovely experience!
Tips:A nice walk through the Quiraing isn’t too far away! We also saw the dinosaur footprints and enjoyed a great lunch at The Hungry Gull. One of our favorite finds was the artist Cath Waters and visited her in her home studio. We walked away with a couple of nice pieces of hers to add to our collections.
