The apartment was beautiful, really well equipped kitchen. Milk and ice in the fridge/freezer. Dog treats, towel and bowl. The beds were super comfy. Travel cot and highchair. The views are wonderful. A great central location. My little girl and our little dog loved it.

Wonderful view and great location for visiting Fife All the little extra touches of the facilities were great especially things like the Google nest

We did parts of the Fife walk, visited Eli’s and St Andrew’s and ate at the Bank and famous Fish Shop in Anstruther

Apartment was light, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. View over the bay was lovely. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Parking wasn't an issue for us but could be if you were carrying heavy bags from car park but wasn't an issue.

Perfect location. Quiet and well fitted out for a relaxing stay. No drawbacks and highly recommended.

Staff shortages have taken a serious toll on Skye. It was impossible to reserve/walk in for any type of meal. Several bad takeaways and eventually cooking was the only option we found. If you are coming, book lunch, dinner, tours well in advance of your visit.

The stay was amazingly comfortable and our hosts gave an amazing selection of wee extras including a wine bottle, a wee selection of short bread and some slippers for our stay. There were washing facilities for clothes, dish washer, oven and stove top. We cooked there a fair bit and the shower was also great. If you're debating staying here I would highly recommend it don't think twice. The location is great for everything near by in Portree. We used it as a base to stay and drive around the island during the day. There is a small coffee shop down the bottom and a pizza place, so I would recommend trying the pizza too if you get a chance. Everything feels covid secure - you'll be required to take your sheets off once you're done and open the windows. Thanks again for a wonderful stay in the apartment if we're back in Skye we will for sure be back! Disliked · Near to nothing our stay was amazing. I would highly recommend this place. The fire alarms were a wee bite sensitive if we were to nit pick, but just crack a window or door and you'll be good to go!

Good place to stay if you're wanting to see all the sites of skye! Bring the car and use it as a base to look around everything else. There is parking just under the apartment that you have to pay for. Everything you'll need is local. Best place!

26th July 2021:

We had a lovely visit to Portree, the accommodation was a home from home. On arrival to the apartment we were welcomed with a lovely vase of fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. We also had a selection of tea, coffee, biscuits and some fresh milk in the fridge which was lovely as a cup of tea/coffee was just what we needed after our long drive. The kitchen had everything needed along with the basic items e.g salt, pepper, sugar and even olive oil. The view from the Appartment across the bay was lovely, my dogs spent most of time (when we were in the apartment) watching the world go by at the balcony window.

So much to see and do in Skye the information book in the apartment had a good selection of popular places to visit. At the moment booking in advance for the restaurants is recommended. There is a selection of good take aways close by.

Excellent experience from booking, through to check in and then exit. Apartment is of a very high standard, great location, brilliant views and good quality equipment. Photos from booking site are an accurate representation of the apartment. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Skye.

A number of high quality restaurants in walking distance. Whilst just coming out of the recent lockdown all were very well prepared and felt really organised and safe. Would recommend visiting Eileen Donan Castle, Fairy pools great quality and general tour of the island however the roads can be a bit challenging.

This apartment was excellent, the kitchen was so well stocked, the location was lovely with the most amazing views and there were great touches throughout the whole apartment. Great place to stay!

Birch coffee - one of the best coffees I’ve had in the UK, the OR homewares shop, the Japanese restaurant and three chimney’s is also a must

The apartment was beautiful, modern and very good location. The view was lovely from the living room, the bed was so comfy and the kitchen was so easy to use!

We ate and drank in the Isles Inn and Portree hotel and we really loved it! We also ate in the prince of taste and the madras was so good! It was about a half an hour to Fairy pools and the other way was half an hour to the Old man of storr xo

The apartment located in the central of the town, and there are also lots of parking spaces, shops, cafes, and restaurants around, making it one of the most convenient accommodation I have ever stayed. The apartment is well facilitated. The kitchen is one of my favorites. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, induction hob, etc. The Joey-style sofa in the living room is extremely comfortable.

Everything was smooth and pleasant. Would have been perfect if there was a microwave oven.

Finding a parking space at the long term parking is a challenge but overnight parking is plenty. Early start is best to find car parks at the attraction area. (We left at 09:00) Be prepared for midges at Fairy Pools.

We loved the apartment. The view made it and it was clean, tidy and modern with lots of extras available - the pint of milk for example left in the fridge was much appreciated when we first arrived.

Follow the sightseeing tour left by owners in the pack. It was fantastic. We went to Rosedale restaurant and the Dulse and Grose both fantastic.

We really loved the views from the living room. Everything was very convenient and thoughtfully /practically furnished for travellers. Very comfortable. The only tiny thing we felt was missing was a rack to hang clothes. Or even some hooks in the bedrooms. Great overall.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable high-end flat in a central location, with stunning views. Every detail thought of. We had a very relaxing time in the apartment which, although it was central, was nice and quiet, not at all noisy.

Totally recommend the Isles Bar for high-end pub grub and a cosy fire. A trip on the Skye Flower Boat trips is a must do too. You’re spoilt for choice on the restaurant front, but if there are any you are determined to eat at, we’d recommend booking.

Skyelight Apartment is perfect, modern, safe, convenient, very clean and comfortable... with amazing views. It was right in the Center of town from one window, but from the other window, the bay was at our feet. We were very warmly received by Fiona, the wonderful housekeeper, with wine, fruit, cookies and kindness. The beds were extremely warm and comfortable... hard to get up in the morning:)

Travel the island loop, it is all amazing!
