Seillean Trang is a self-catering log cabin suitable for up to 4 persons. The Cabin is situated within the grounds of our home up in The Highlands of Scotland on the magical Isle of Skye, “The Misty Isle”. Situated on the Sleat peninsula also known as "The Garden of Skye". Despite its compact appearance the log cabin is full of character with fantastic views, overlooking Knock Castle and across the Sound of Sleat to the Knoydart and the mountains beyond. The spacious patio area it’s the perfect spot to see Golden and White Tailed Eagles, Red Deer and the stunning views of the sea, the mountains and an unparalleled view of the night sky in winter - binoculars provided. It’s a short walk to the Torabhaig whisky distillery where you can partake in a guided tour of the distillery and perhaps something warmer! Not far from the distillery you can walk to the shore, where at low tide you can enjoy a sandy beach and a closeup views of Knock Castle.

The cabin is very nicely located with an excellent view. The amenities, the beds and wifi is excellent. The total space being with four adults is a bit small, but for a couple of days good enough. The works perfect, but the toilet is a bit difficult to flush. The host is very nice, helpful and very responsive. A location to recommend.

Tips:

Bring all your drinks and food, a supermarket is relatively far away.

12th August 2020:

Spent 3 nights with my wife, 9 month old son and dog here and it was exactly what we were after. Stunning views of the sunrise that look over towards the mainland. Very clean accommodation and facilities for self catering needs. dog friendly and 2 extremely friendly and helpful guests!! We will be back again and highly recommend staying here for a relaxed peaceful break.

My partner and I were looking for somewhere comfortable and homely that also allowed pets- and this was the perfect place. The views are beautiful, and the accommodation is perfect, having everything you need and more. Mack and Magda were also very helpful suggesting places to visit on Skye, and even suggested good places to stop on our trip round the north coast. We would definitely recommend Seillean Trang.
