5th September 2022:

Nice accomodation with beautiful views, located next to Loch Sligachan. Perfect place to stay to explore the Isle of Skye. The lodge was clean, has everything you need, and the owners are really friendly! I would definitely recommend this place!

Tips:

At 3,5 miles from the lodge there is a restaurant/bar (in Sligachan) called Seumas' Bar. It's a nice place to grab some food and/or have drink. For groceries it is better to go to the Co-op in Broadford instead of Portree. The Co-op in Broadford is larger and has a wider range of products. If you want to visit a whiskey distillery, and you are not able to go to the Tallisker Distillery, the Torabhaig Distillery is a nice alternative. Great tour! If you like to hike, apart from hiking to the top of the Storr, definitely go to Cullin Hills! More challenging but worthy.

Fantastic location and setting The Lodge is perfect with excellent facilities We had a great holiday and will be back

Tips:

You can travel anywhere on Skye from the Lodge Plan for all weathers - sometimes several changes in a day Worth getting to popular spots in the morning -e.g.Fairy Pools Book for evening meals if you can -not possible in all places

Great place to stay, the beds are so comfortable and with individual bunks and curtains we all slept like logs. Morag and Hector were great hosts.

Tips:

We went to Scorrybreac and Dulse & Brose. Highly recommend both. Also Cafe Lephin was a great little lunch stop!

Morag and Hector were great hosts, very knowledgeable on the island and which places to visit. The lodge is adorable with a magnificent view of the Loch. Lodge is superbly kitted out, the outside fire pit was a bonus which we used every night of our stay. Can’t wait until the next time
