We absolutely LOVED staying with Dolly! She treated us like family and was so wonderful to us. We will definitely stay here again and again.
Tips:Having a car to drive around the area and island is a must...well worth being brave, driving on the left (which is not typical for us) and taking your time to enjoy the beauty and peace of this area.

Dolly, the proprietor and hostess, was a very friendly and helpful person. Her breakfast was terrific. The room was comfortable, clean, and had just what we needed for our one night stay We would have stayed longer had our schedule permitted. The bathroom/shower room was renovated and very pleasant. Bed was most comfortable.
Tips:Although located in the southern part of the Isle of Skye, it is only a 30-40 minute drive through beautiful valleys, mountains, and fields to the northern parts where there are beautiful views and challenging walks. There is a large supermarket close at hand. We ate at a Catalunian style restaurant across from the supermarket and enjoyed the meal

We enjoyed our stay very much: the cosy bedroom, nice bath, the large sitting room and the great breakfast ! Dolly is a wonderful host and made us feel so much at home.
Tips:Our favorite restaurant was the Claymore, but we also tried 'The Harbour' which offered nice food as well. Broadford is a good location for exploring the island.

22nd August 2018:
Mrs Robertson is an incredible host, my husband and I had many nice moments during our stay at Clisham B&B. The house has excellent location - it is close from the bridge that connects Skye to the continent and it is 40 - 50 min away by car from Quirang mountains (one of the best hikings in Scotland). The landscapes in Clisham are wonderful and walking around is very pleasant as well (the Sea/Ocean is only 5 min by foot) and there is a nice dining place just down the road. We are very happy with our experience
Tips:Glaymore restaurant - very good one, if in high season you will have to wait to be served (not more than 10-15 minutes usually) Quirang - picturesque views, Plockton village - cute seaside fishing village Many other hiking itineraries around

We found Clisham to be very clean, a spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom (good shower) and the full use of a large private lounge with large picture window looking out on Broadford Bay. Beautifully prepared breakfast. Dolly was most helpful when my wife fell and broke her arm on a walk to Irishman's Point (slipped on a large flat rock)! Thanks Dolly.
Tips:Creelers Restaurant serve excellent food in a cosy and comfortable environment. A&E at Broadford Hospital, very good service!! Ferry trip from Mallaig very pleasant, as was the drive back over the Skye Bridge / Kyle of Lochalsh

Dolly was the dearest woman I have ever met. She reminded me of my grandmother mixed with Mrs. Doubtfire but in the nicest most endearing way possible. Staying with her was like visiting family. The room was impeccable with a vey comfy bed an ensuite. Straight out the window was a view of the kind of scenery you would hope to wake up to whilst visiting Isle of Skye. The breakfast was deliscious and filling. She only accepts two guests at a time so if you can manage to score a booking then go for it. She is also not super nosy and gives you your space. Would definitely recommend.
Tips:We drove to the west side for sunset and had an amazing meal at the Old Inn in Carbost

Absolutely first class accommodation, host and food!! So welcoming and friendly, Dolly was a star and such a mine of information. No hesitation in recommending to anyone seeking a home from home atmosphere in beautiful surroundings
Tips:Don't use the main hotel for meals in Broadford. Expensive, ignorant staff and mediocre food. Ate at Indian near Skye bridge - very good. For places to see - the whole of the island is stunning

We stayed for three nights at Clisham B&B. There is only one comfortable double room available for B&B, with enough storage place for all things we brought along, and a bathroom with window, which isn't quite natural in all B&Bs. A large lounge with seats and sofas and a very very large tv flat screen awaits you for the evening hours. A large and neat garden with many flowers and lovely decoration items awaits you outside. But the most important: what makes this B&B twice as nice is the presence of the owner, Dolina "Dolly". She is such a nice and friendly person who makes you feel as if you were in a home away from home. She gave us tips for trips, called a boat company to make an appointment for a boat trip, and she even persisted on washing our clothings when we asked her if there was a laundry around here. Dolly is such a lovely person, being able to anticipate you every wish, like normally only a mother could do. Hospitality is a very important thing for every Scot, but here it is one-of-a-kind! Dolly, we really hope to see you again when we'll return in two years! Ralf & Jana from Germany
Tips:Need any tips? Just ask Dolly - she will help!

From the moment we set foot in her beautiful garden and were welcomed by our host Mrs Robertson who went out of her way to make our stay a most memorable one. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast an absolute treat. This accommodation would put many a 5 star hotel to shame.
Tips:The Claymore Restaurant is a short walk from Clisham and has a large selection of seafood dishes on their extensive menu. If you have time and are there on Tuesday or Wednesday you may be able to fit in a flight with Loch Lomond Seaplanes - well worth seeing the Isle of Skye from the air - although prior booking is advised.

Clisham was a lovely place to stay! Dolly was very friendly and made us feel at home. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious and very nice. Breakfast was very good!Lovely cooked breakfast and friendly atmosphere. Only wish we had been able to spend more time there!
Tips:Most of the local restaurants are seafood, so if you don't like seafood then make sure you plan ahead. We visited the Fairy Pools which was about a 45 minutes drive and was well worth the visit. Even in the rain the scenery was beautiful and a nice walk up to see the waterfalls and pools (not necessarily suitable for very young children or older people though - we needed to jump across the river at a few points, and we saw one family turn back as it was too hard). Very popular with other tourists.

Thank you Dolina! Assolutamente da consigliare.
