This was a perfect spot on Skye as a central spot to get to all the goods of the island. Easy drive in all directions. The host was so kind to us after we got caught in a storm hiking at the Fairy Pools and went above and beyond to help us out with our laundry.

I loved my stay at the Treaslane Bridge House! The room was clean, warm and inviting, and the setting was gorgeous and incredibly relaxing! Without doubt this was the best accommodation of my 10-night trip throughout Scotland!

I HIGHLY recommend the tasting menu at the Edinbane Lodge for a special occasion dinner. There's also a lovely pottery store next door called Edinbane Pottery.

Isle of Skye is beautiful, probably the best part of the Highlands region. I wish I could have stayed more days. I particularly enjoyed the north east part, from Portree to Duntulm and then down to Treaslane via the lovely bay of Uig (there is only one road, you can’t go wrong). We had a delicious lunch at the Oyster shed with local fresh fish and excellent dinner at the Ferry Inn in Uig. I look forward to visiting the Hebrides again!

We ate at the Edinbane Inn a few miles from property, recommended by Kim, it was excellent food and staff were pleasant and helpful. When we left, we went over Skye Bridge which was amazing, then visited Eileen Donan Castle which is a must. We would definitely recommend the property.

We had a great stay at Treaslane Bridge House while visiting the Isle of Skye. We did the east loop on the island the first day and it ended near the Treaslane Bridge house, which was perfect. The location is outside of Portree, but only about a 15 minute (or less) drive into the town if you need to reach the grocery store or go to a restaurant. We had two single beds which was perfect for my mom and I. there is a mini fridge and a hair dryer which we utilized. The water pressure from the shower was literally the best I've ever had! It was easy to check ourselves in and use the lock on our door to our room.

The digital self check in was very practical as we arrived later. The room was evidently very clean. The bedsheets, bed, and pillows were very comfortable. The view the next morning was incredible. The breakfast items in the room were helpful as we wanted to go hiking early, before restaurants or the grocery opened - the fresh milk was an appreciated touch as it tastes much better than the room temperature stable options. Kim was lovely. The room was close driving distance to Portree for food and hiking the Quiraing and Old Man of Storr

As we were late in the season (end September) I didn’t believe the need to reserve restaurants would apply to us. I was wrong. Getting dinner was a challenge. Finding coffee and breakfast before 8am in order to go for an early hike was also not possible near Portree so grocery stores for snacks are key not only for the hike but breakfast too

The accommodation was amazing! Comfortable beds, spacious, perfect location to take in all of Skye! It was nice to find a bar fridge AND a fan in the room. I will definitely be recommending this place - Kim was fabulous! * it would be great to have a microwave and maybe a toaster in the communal entrance area where it is hard floors? That would be my only input 😊

Be prepared in summer for the midges- they are everywhere ( Isle of Skye). Take the northern road when you go to Storr - it is lovely!

We had a lovely stay at Treaslane. Location is quite central so great for a hub and spoke approach to the island heading out for day trips. Highlights of the hotel itself were the comfy big bed and the water pressure (it has a great shower). The owner who we saw in the morning was incredibly kind and did us a little favour.

About 5 min away is the Skeabost Hotel which is a lovely building with a beautiful solarium style dining area and good food.

The house is wonderfully situated on the shore, the room is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable. It is great that there was a fridge, the bathroom is brand new and very well equipped. There is parking directly at the house, we could also park our bikes at the house. The nice sitting area with a wonderful view pleased us very much, only unfortunately the midges too ... The host is very friendly, we found the basket with some breakfast things and tea/coffee and the fresh milk in the fridge very nice.

The Skeabost Restaurant 5 minutes away by car war quite nice and good. Apart from that, it was a bit difficult to book a table in the area at short notice during the week (July 2022).

I highly recommend Treslane Bridge House to anyone visiting Isle of Skye. My family and I spent a couple of days touring around this amazing place and we loved our stay here. Everything was extremely well thought, including the breakfast basket that was had all sort of delicious goodies. Thank you Kim for everything!!!

Do not miss Niest Point*, The Fairy Pools*, Kilt Rock, The Quiraing* or Old Man of Storr*... all are truly breathtaking. *Make sure to make time at each of this stop to do the some of the hiking trails, they are worth the time and effort. Make plans ahead of time for dinner reservations as there are not too many options in the route, unless you plan to end at Portree; but even there you will probably need reservations.

Not too much nearby to do- you would definitely need a car to stay here. Only 2 food places nearby about 10 minutes drive. I ate at the more casual pub and loved it

The room had all the amenities, from a fridge, to a hairdryer. Etc. Everything was super clean, comfortable and the bathroom is new. I recommend this place 100%, it was the best hotel of my whole trip to Scotland.

It is 45 min from neist point lighthouse and 20 min from duvegan castle. The views are incredible and it is in a beautiful location, full of sheep and cows.

Kim was was really nice and would go out her way to make sure we where ok. Anything that we needed to know she would be there for us with an abundance of information on the island and surrounding areas. We personally couldn't have had a nicer host and we will definitely be back to her place in the future.

Skye is really busy so best to book in advance for restaurants and bars etc.We had a lovely meal at the seafood cafe just outside Uig and I would recommend this to anyone who likes seafood.

The Skye half marathon is worth going to watch (or run if you are mad). Lower deck in Portree served FAB seafood. But there are so many things to do and places to go there are too many to list. Skye is as beautiful as I remembered.

Very welcoming, nice touch with the initial free breakfast box and little box of useful items in the bathroom. A lot of rules in place which doesn’t make the stay feel homely or comfortable. For example no eating food within the room that has not been provided by owners or no stains on bedding etc. I was worried about dropping crumbs on the floor or spilling a few drops of coffee onto the sheets. Lovely location by a brook, watch out for midgies 🤪

Make sure that you have creams or sprays due to midgies and antihistamines just in case.
