Hawthorn Dene is a quiet, traditional croft cottage in Torrin, near Broadford on the Isle of Skye. Sleeping up to four guests (plus up to two dogs). This white 1 and a half storey holiday home offers spectacular views of Blaven from its large enclosed, dog friendly garden. Inside, enjoy a cosy living room with wood burning stove, fast Starlink WiFi and Smart TV, a well equipped kitchen, a dining room with a stone fireplace, two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over. The spacious kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. The family dining room is a highlight of the cottage with a large dining table, seating four in comfort.

We only take weekly bookings Sat-Sat. Hawthorn Dene is a traditional croft cottage in Torrin, near Broadford on the Isle of Skye, ideal for a tranquil getaway for up to 4 people.

The cosy cottage is surrounded by stunning countryside and Cuillin mountain views and lies within a large and secure dog-friendly garden. The traditional Skye white detached 1½-storey croft house has a homely, country feel. Torrin lies on the shores of Loch Slapin and is overlooked by the mighty Blà Bheinn or Blaven ‘blue mountain’.

2nd November 2025:

We loved our stay at Hawthorn Dene, well located conveniently to Broadford yet tucked away. Everything you need. Lovely and cosy. Very comfortable bed.

Tips:

Near Amy's Place, just down the road - worth a visit.
