The lodge is lovely right by the waters edge . The view is just so stunning . Love the bedrooms and bathrooms . Great location to explore the isle of Skye . Elaine is a fantastic host , very helpful and responsive !! Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to explore the isle of Skye . Very close to Portree .
Tips:Buy fresh seafood from Just Hooked . Fresh seafood and cook yourselves in the lodge . Do not leave your windows open at night because of the midges will fly in . They can invade your bedrooms .

Beautiful location, loved looking out of each window to the lake. Beds are very comfortable, the house was immaculately clean. Nice breakfast foods, snacks and wine provided on arrival. Highly recommend!!!

We had such a nice time at the Lodge in the Loch. The setting is so incredibly beautiful and the house is extremely cute with great views. Also the hosts us up with eggs and cheese and few other lovely things that were just really nice to have. Elaine was super communicative and super kind and helpful even when we had a bit of a bialetti coffee explosion.
Tips:Try and hike storr on a nicer day and then hit the hungry gull for lunch! Scorrybreac was incredible for dinner. Visiting Raasay was awesome and cooler than Talisker! Also- try and visit Yasmin and her animals at her Croft, island at the edge. I bought a beautiful vest from her, knitted from her own sheep’s wool and naturally dyed.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, every room has the wow factor. So much attention to detail and effort to make the Lodge a wonderful comfortable place to stay. The views across the Loch are mesmerising and having the garden area to sit was also a bonus. We loved every minute and it was difficult to tear ourselves away. Thank you.
Tips:Very well placed luxury accommodation only a few minutes drive from Portree with its quaint harbour, boat trips and restaurants. With the Old Man of Storr right on your doorstep for a great hike with amazing views. We also drove across to Dunvegan Castle and the Fairy Glen both of which are worth a visit as the Castle has small boat trips out to see the seals.
