We went to the Red Skye which is walkable and so delicious but you need to book in advance as very popular. Shiloh is very close to the Skye Bridge so extremely handy and also very quiet.

Had a really nice stay at Shiloh. Mary was a lovely host. The Room was Spotless. Comfy Bed and a really nice strong shower. With Coffee and Tea making facilities in the room. Also plenty of Sockets with USB ports. Everything we could want for a Continental Breakfast, Cereal, Toast, Fruit and Coffee, and even accommodated my dairyfree diet with Almond Milk and Alpro Yoghurt very thoughtful.

Hebridean Inn, just 3 minutes away, really lovely food and a nice atmosphere. They take walk ins and they cater for vegans and vegetarian diets.

Las habitaciones són tal como se describen y son muy cómodas. Tienen servicio de te o café en la habitación, cosa que se agradece y en una de ellas una mini nevera. El ventanal de una de las habitaciones es perfecto para dormir y despertarse con la salida del sol. Sheila es muy atenta y servicial, nos atendió y explicó todo muy bien y nos recomendó que hacer en la isla. El desayuno es muy abundante y bueno

La isla es muy hermosa, vayas donde vayas los paisajes son espectaculares. Ver Portree por la tarde es genial, poca gente, el parking sale gratis a parir de las 18h y la luz para hacer fotos del puerto es perfecta. La carretera que pasa por Quiraing es increíble, sólo cabe un coche por lo que has de usar los passing places, pero vale la pena por el paisaje, las orejas a pie de carretera o en la carretera. Hay lavanderia en el hostel de Portree, lo que va muy bien si pasas varios días e Escocia y no quieres llevar mucha ropa. Si quieres ver hairy coo puede acercarte a Glenhinnisdal, frente al Trotternish B&B

I felt very welcomed as soon as I arrived. The hostess is very kind, and was very pleasant to talk to about the area. She gave me a few suggestions for sightseeing as well. The B&B room I stayed in was very comfortable and clean, and the tea service was the best of all the places I stayed on this trip (very generous with the biscuits!). I had a view of the sea out of my window. The breakfast was very good. There is plenty of parking and it's easy to get in and out to access the main road. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and it's a quick drive to Broadford, which has a grocery store, gas, and more restaurants.

The BnB is located at a great central point between Fort William and Isle of Skye, so we could rest before continuing on to Isle of Skye. The double room was very clean, the toilet was not ensuite but private and still very clean. The facilities provided was more than we expected. The breakfast was amazing too!

We really enjoyed our stay, the facilities were really well maintained and comfortable. The only thing that I think was missing that i would have appreciated would have been a microwave and possibly a small fridge in the room, as many restaurants in the area closed early and we couldn’t make any food in our room as there was only a kettle.

The Old Man of Storr and Fairy Pools were both fabulous hikes and not too far away. I’d recommend making reservations for meals as many restaurants closed early or were full.

As we only stayed one night, Skye was a stopover on our way to the Western Isles, I don't feel qualified to answer this question. I can assure you that Skye is a beautiful island with magestuc rock formations and panoramic views.

Getting dinner in Broadford, on a Monday in early September, wasn’t easy with most places shut or fully booked, but Cafe Sia, at the north end of town, did excellent pizzas with good service.

Shiloh B&B was perfect - great location, lovely room and large bathroom, on site parking, great continental breakfast. Sheila was extremely helpful and friendly.

Shiloh is a perfect base as there are restaurants in walking distance and within a 2 minute drive. We ate at Claymore restaurant which was very nice with lovely food and good service. We also got a pizza takeaway from Cafe Sia which was delicious and good service. There is a co-op 3 mins away, Plus you can access all of Skyes peninsulas easily. Would highly recommend a stay at Shiloh.

We were very impressed with the accommodation, and also the facilities and selection of food provided. We also enjoyed being able to take our time over breakfast and, for us, the food provided was adequate.

We visited Armadale Castle; we found the museum very interesting and being able to walk right round the castle ruin. The grounds are wonderful with plenty of walks and places for families to play etc. The restaurant was excellent, the service was very good, and the staff couldn't do enough for you.

So many great things to do here in isle of sky and the location from shiloh made everything within an hours drive. There's many things to see such as the fairy pools, old man of storr, mealtfalls and kilt rock and so far the best fish and chips we had just a 5min drive away from shiloh at Siaway fish and chips shop.

We stayed for a night at Sharon's b&b. We arrived quite late at night and she kindly waited for us. The room, toilet and overall, the place was IMPECCABLE. A lovely vibe, Sharon was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing too, it was beyond expectations. Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend.

It's about an hour drive to Portree, nice tiny town. DEFINITELY go hiking the Storr and visit the Fairy Pools, as well as go to all the possible viewpoints around the island. Scenery is 1000 out of 10.

We were welcome so well. It was very clean and I really loved the place of the breakfast. The location is good, on the main road to Portree and not so far from the Skye bridge. It’s also a very nice location to explore all the South part of the Isle of Skye.

The Fairy Pools, Talisker, the Point of Sleat...

Nice and quiet place, very pleasant hostess, good breakfast. For me was the only problem - the bedding was too fragrant, I have an allergy to some scents, so I think the scent should be neutral, not all people like scented bedding. It could be good to pay by card, not only cash.

The only option for dinner on foot - Red Skye Restaurant half a mile from the hotel. The mussels were fabulous. But only cash or Pay pal transfers, no cards accepted. Broadford with restaurants, supermarket and cash machine is 3 miles away from the hotel.

Room and the facilities were clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. A great place to stay in Skye.

We enjoyed all of the amazing scenery that Skye has to offer. We had dinner at Seumas' Bar just near Sligachan bridge - it was brilliant. Good food and a fabulous atmosphere.
