The Rotunda has to be the best place to stay on Skye...increduble views, all the facilities you could need (and of high quality), spotlessly clean and a lovely and helpful host. Even the road has been resurfaced recently so it's now probably the smoothest road on Skye! Could have happily stayed longer.
Tips:We saw dolphins from the Rotunda but also enjoyed the boat trip from Portree and saw Sea Eagles.

We had a fabulous break in the Rotunda. It was perfect in every way. The view was breathtaking and the accommodation was of the highest quality. We would recommend a stay here to anyone. Great facilities, comfy bed and the spectacular views.
Tips:Book restaurants in advance. We loved Scorrybreac in Portree but found The Stein Inn to be poor quality but expensive.

The Rotunda is a little slice of paradise. Extremely comfortable, perfect setting, very well equipped. Dolphins in the bay, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Would highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing few days.
Tips:Took bikes over to Raasay for the day, quiet cycling, fab views over Skye and a drink at the distillery.

We had friendly greeting from Nikki on arrival. The rotunda was absolutely gorgeous and in a wonderful location. We found that we were quite central for getting to all the tourist spots. It was such a wonderful relaxing space being right in the middle of the beautiful Skye country side. Would highly recommend.
Tips:If possible try and phone and make reservations at local restaurants as can be very busy during the tourist season Cafe Cuil was an amazing place for food which is near the fairy pools The Skye candle company was also a good place for food

A perfect base for a visit to Skye. The rotunda is beautifully maintained and has all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay. The accommodation was warm and cosy with a magnificent view across farmland to the sea. We were lucky enough to visit during lambing, a real bonus!
Tips:A 5 minute drive from the rotunda is Braes Beach, a perfect spot for a late afternoon stroll

Its a lovely place, fantastic views and very idyllic. At the beginning it took a little to adapt to the single-track roads, but they are all over Skye, so you will get used to them quickly.
Tips:The advice to stop at CoOp in Broadford on the way into Skye was perfect, no comparable grocery options available anywhere else on the Isle of Skye. Leave early to the attractions, much easier traffic and parking.

Fantastic accommodation & owner only too pleased to help with anything. The views from the cabin are amazing & the Rotunda is definitely luxury accommodation.
Tips:Excellent home made pizza’s on the way to Portree at the candle shop & cinema & fantastic scenery all round the island. The Old Man of Storr is a fantastic climb & cracking views when at the top.

The quiet location and view was wonderful with lambing in full swing the lambs were frolicking and entertaining. The deck was perfect for breakfast and morning coffee.
Tips:Internet is very good here. Drive carefully on the road - many potholes.

The property was a perfect, peaceful retreat. Comfortable and well equipped with an amazing view. Nikki was a great host, warm and welcoming giving us tips on local walks and points of interest. We would highly recommend this property as a good base to explore the Isle of Skye.
Tips:Be sure to visit the Quiriang and the Fairy Glen. Also Dunvegan Castle was a good option for a rainy day.

Phenomenal from the get go. Greta value for money, lovely facilities, the view was just incredible and Nikki couldn’t have done more for us! Loved the walk down the beach by the property which was just amazing - we saw seals at sunset and everything! Perfect mini moon, we’d be back in a heartbeat.
