Great spot for a couple to explore Skye!
Tips:There's a great pizza place a 6 minute walk away, Gasta Port Righ. Make sure to make reservations but we found it easy to get in, unlike most places in Portree. Which brings up our biggest suggestion: make dinner reservations well before you arrive - it's nearly impossible to walk in and get a table anywhere.

Very good accommodation! A few things to improve: a few hooks in the bathroom to hang the clothes on. A small table in front of the sofa. Now we had to use the floor to put our meals on when eating. The right lamp at the right bed wasn’t in a good order. We appreciate the extra food, tea, coffee and milk in the refrigerator. The hosts were very service minded and kind.
Tips:Portree is a little town with many tourists. Be cautious about dinner time! You may have to queue. There are nice surroundings. You can take a walk up to the Lump and to the Scorry beachs.

The room is modern, clean, and thoughtfully up-dated. Nice refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, and many electrical outlets making it easy to connect. Nice bathroom with great shower. There is parking if you are driving, or an easy walk into town. We really enjoyed our visit.

Great apartment. Lorna is a great host. We had a basket of things for breakfast the next morning as well as coffee. I would add salt and pepper, unless we did not find it. A low table in front of the couch would also be useful for breakfast or even dinner Thanks for your hospitality

The apartment is perfect for two. Modern, comfy, clean & quiet with a beautiful view of the sea. Nicely equipped kitchenette with kettle, microwave, toaster & refrigerator.
Tips:Brother’s Point (Rubha nam Brathairean) trail approximately 5-10 minutes North of Old Man of Storr is a lesser known, but wonderful walk through sheep filled meadows down to the sea.

Lorna and Iain were very friendly and informative about the restaurants and attractions in the area. They have done a great job with the apartment, which included everything we needed and extras like toiletries, snacks and milk in the fridge. Plenty of tea/coffee choices as well. It’s a comfortable and quiet location yet walkable to Portree.
Tips:Book dinner in advance as many places in Portree will be booked up. Head into Portree early as parking was difficult from around 5.30 and visit walk-in restaurants early as many places will require queueing up!

Portree is the perfect base to explore the Isle of Skye. The apartment was spotlessly clean, cosy, and modern. There was complimentary tea, coffee, and breakfast. The only thing that could be improved would be to have a small plug-in hob in the kitchen to help people who are self-catering.

such a lovely, cosy welcoming space. Immaculately clean and comfortable. After a long day out walking, in the rain, it's so good to get back for a lovely warm shower. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
Tips:If you find yourself on Skye you know what your own activities will be. Too many hills and walks to recommend. Sorry can't comment on restaurants as we didn't venture out once back for the evening. Seemed to be loads of good places to eat within a not too far distance.

We loved this apartment. It was small, cosy and had everything we needed for our trip. The views were stunning, and the hosts created a small hamper for us as we were celebrating a birthday (a lovely gesture). The only downfall was that we couldn’t enjoy the view in the evenings as our view as blocked with other cars staying in the b&b next door. We are private people and felt slightly uncomfortable with people parking right outside of the large patio doors, and had to close the blinds post 6pm. Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again!

Really lovely apartment, the owners have thoughtfully modernised and made entirely top notch. A great sun trap for lovely mornings and evenings, with a cracking view and only a short walk into Portree for restaurants and entertainment (my 3 year old walked it)! Lovely hosts and very helpful. Highly recommend.
Tips:The Oyster Shack, and Cuchullin Restaurant definite highlights.
