Very good and peaceful place Good for a family of four or more 2 x bathrooms very handy but we were not sharing rooms with strangers so I can’t comment on that Highly recommended

Super hébergement. Tout refais à neuf. L'équipement est top ainsi que la literie. Le petit-déjeuner que nous avons eu a cause du covid était un petit-déjeuner panier en chambre qui était vraiment bien, très copieux et très bon !

Hébergement très bien situé pour rayonner sur l'île ainsi que pour se restaurer,de nombreux restaurant à proximité. Merci Pauline

Nadzwyczajne miejsce! Cudowna właścicielka! Niesamowity 150 letni domek, wspaniale usytuowany. Bardzo przyjemne wykończenie wnętrz z niesamowitą dbałością o szczegóły. Na wyposażeniu pokoju były nawet szlafroki i jednorazowe kapcie! Pyszne śniadanie w super atmosferze.

Quaint little bed and breakfast on the Isle of Skye, about twenty minutes down the road past the town of Portree. Very cozy and comfortable room, amazing view of the ocean from our bedroom window. Shared bathroom, but it was not a problem. Lovely stay. Would recommend.

A very special place. We felt very well. And the breakfast is amazing same as the people who prepared it for us every morning. Very kind people. I will definitely try to come back.

Jim and Pauline were warm and attentive hosts. We were warmly welcomed and their communication with us was timely. The location of Taigh Rob is out of town and in a beautiful area on the main road between Man of Store and Kilt Rock. There was no problems with the shared bathroom. Everything was amazingly clean and comfortable. Every amenity including coffee setup in the room, to a spare toothbrush was provided. They provided a generous breakfast with great variety. The shared bath in on the ground floor and rooms are above. All rooms have a water view.

Restuarant choices are limited near Taigh Rob so plan on this in advance.

Columbia 1400 is a cafeteria 5 minutes by car really good. Amazing location for a trip to the Quiraing and even near to Portree (where you can have a seafood dinner)

Beautiful location, lovely decorated room with sea view. The owners have great eye for detail. Everything, including the breakfast, was perfect. One should't mind sharing the bathroom with other 2 rooms. It was kept very clean though. Enjoyed my stay.

Columba 1400 restaurant is just up the road in Staffin. It's excellent and the profits support a ministry supporting underprivileged or underserved teens.

The house and the room are absolutely perfects. The place is wonderful, we ´ll never forget the view from the room. We ´ll tell our friends that Taigh Rob is the place where to stay on Skye. We would have appreciated one more bathroom or separate toilet, but we understand that old houses are difficult to modernize.

Dunvegan gardens and the little museum in Staffin The beach with the dinosaurs footprints The weaver in Duirinish and a little shop run by a lady near Neist All the places are beautiful We hope that too many tourists won’t sploil Skye.

Visiting the Isle of Skye while staying at Taigh Rob is wonderful. The property is in a lovely spot and has a great view of the sea. The hosts are attentive and attentive.
