The host was very nice, breakfast was really big and tasty. Great location , not sa far from center of Portree. Bedroom was tidy and we slept very well.
Tips:Sea Haze B&B is maybe 3-5min from the nearest restaurant in Hotel ,and it takes something about 10-15min walk to centre of Portree.

The Sea Haze is lovely new BnB located on the hill on opposite side of the little bay at Portree. Provided a nice cooked breakfast. Reasonable walk into town, rather than having to drive, the last hill can be a challenge after a couple of pints. Ian provide plenty of information on what to see and do. Good value for money. Plus easy access to the bar and dining at The Cuillon Hotel just below the BnB. Jim

Small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast staff were excellent and very efficient.

Ian was very welcoming, freindly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice too. Location was up on hillside above harbor, very quiet and peaceful. 10 min. walk to town which is nice because it is impossible to find parking in town.
Tips:you will not get a dinner table after about 530 pm without a reservation, saw many people being turned out repeatedly and long questions for restaurants, . after 7-730 was usually better

Bedrooms comfortable, newly refurbished to a high standard. The residents’ lounge was a pleasant addition. Breakfast was plentiful and staff very helpful. Location about 10 minutes (partly uphill) walk from Portree town centre.

24th July 2019:
A lovely B&B and better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast very good. It has a homely & comfortable feel, helped by having a separate lounge with a picture window for sole use of the guests - which is a welcome addition when it's raining! We didn't have a car and the owner kindly offered to ferry us down to the town for dinner as the weather wasn't good. He also arranged a private tour by local taxi which was great and gave us an insight into living on Syke. Would love to come back.
Tips:The B&B is only a 10 minute walk into the town so don't be put off by location issues. It's actually a lovely walk by the sea mainly downhill but you might want a taxi back if you are tired. The restaurants in Syke get booked up quickly so I suggest you look around and book tables for all nights as soon as you arrive. The castle at Dunvegan is well worth a visit and there's a bus from Portree that drops you at the door. Just watch for return times as they aren't frequent.

The accommodation is absolutely lovely! The room is very clean and the beds were extremely comfy after days exploring. The breakfast on offer was superb and I can not fault the hot or cold selections on offer.
Tips:The Caley Bar is great for food and the service is excellent. Some restaurants take bookings whilst others don’t so it’s just luck of the draw when trying to get somewhere to eat. Dunvegan castle is worth a visit even if just for the gardens.

It was a perfect stop for us on the Isle of Skye. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. I appreciated the card to fill out before breakfast. It was a professional and considerate option for me, as a vegetarian. The owner is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend the Sea Haze. We had a wonderful lunch at a cafe in town. Most places closed early in the afternoon. We got lucky to get in.

I stayed there with my boyfriend for a night. The B&B is lovely. It can be a bit difficult to locate, as it is off the main road, but that was not a problem at all. In fact, the location is very quiet and nice, perfect for a quiet evening. Our host was a really nice guy, he suggested a few places where we can get a good dinner in Portree and on our way off, he suggested a picturesque route to our next destination. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of choices. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Wifi excellent. Great location. Very new and clean room. Very friendly host. To improve breakfast, suggest a menu the night before to select options for cooked breakfast. Would have preferred less on plate and a lot of waste way cooked breakfast ordered and served. Coffee and tea wasn't great. Suggest small hot pot of each on the table. Also no milk jug, small things that are easily improved.

We had a great stay at the Sea Haze B&B. The location was lovely, just a few minutes walk from central Portree but nice and quiet and with lovely views over the harbour. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for us. The room was perfect, a nice size with everything you would need and a great bathroom. Breakfast was great and there were a good range of options. Thank you for everything.
Tips:We really enjoyed our meal at the Sea Breeze restaurant down at the harbour. The fish and chips from "The Chippy" were excellent.

We had a lovely stay for two nights at this perfectly situated B&B. Our great host provided us with a hearty scottish breakfast and made a great effort to make our stay as enjoyable as can be. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and can only recommend Sea Haze to everyone looking for a place to stay on Skye!
