Our stay at this B&B was simply fantastic. The location was great, the decor was simple but tasteful. The rooms were very well furnished and the quality of sleep was high both for the silence and the comfort of the mattress. The breakfast, prepared by Mrs. Anne every morning, was delicious and very rich in options. I highly recommend this property.

The view outside the window was stunning. The breakfast REALLY good. We got nice tips for what to do that we followed and it was absolutely worth it. There is a bookshelf in the house with travel guides and books about the Isle of Skye, that I appreciated very much. Thank you for everything, especially for the kindness. We felt very welcome.

28th June 2023:
We loved Ronan House and Anne was delightful. The breakfasts were delicious and the living space was such a treat. We had stayed in many hotels on our journey and this was the best! We liked seeing the windmills near the house and the view over the hillside and the loch was terrific. We would love to return someday! Our friends were staying at the Edinbane Inn and it was a short walk down the sheep path to the Inn and some good meals.
Tips:We recommend a trip to Dunvegan Castle and the two church walk and then going out to Niest and walking up to the lookout. Another day we went north to Uig and the Fairy Glen, and further to the folk museum, on to the Staffin beach with dinosaur prints, and then the Man of Stores hike. We ate dinner in an old church in Portree! Perfect!!

I stayed in Ronan House during my short trip to Scotland and I really loved that place. Room was perfectly equipped and tidy, big table in front of the house allowed to enjoy morning coffee and evening glass of whiskey outside ;). Spacious common room with a fireplace can satisfy those who want to spend evnenings outside the bedroom. Breakfasts were delicious, with broad selection of home products. Great place to stay for everybody who wants to experience calmness and beauty of Skye.

Tips:What a gem, our hosts were extremely welcoming and the continental breakfast was magnificent. We would definitely stay again. Our only piece of advice ..... book your evening dining early as Skye doesn't seem to have enough capacity. The team at Atholl House in Dunvegan saved us from starvation both nights we were there :-)

Ronan House is one of our top two B&B in our three week stay in Scotland. We'd stay there again. Here's what we liked about Ronan: Ann's cooking is second to none. Ronnie is a friendly and engaging server. The two are "real" and like staying with family. A pub restaurant is a 15 minute walk through a field away. The food is soooo good and worth eating at more than once. The view from the home is gorgeous. Lots of green hills and lochs to watch. I liked watching the dogs around the sheep. The Location on the island is great, you'll have easy convenient access to all the sites. Ronnie is really helpful with what to see and when and how best to do it, so don't be shy about talking with him.

outstanding hospitality, spotless inside and out, superb choice for breakfast plus they went that extra mile or two to get what you can eat if you have health condition or food allergies, extremely exceptional service from owners and their family, very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone, unless your in wheelchair not good as entrance has 4 steps to main entrance. I can't wait to visit again next year.
Tips:Highly recommend visiting Portree, Kilt Rock & Mealts falls, Duvegan Castle, Cuillins and much more the whole off Skye is completely breathtaken the scenery is out this world.

Heartwarming welcome with this terrible rain, what a relief to spend the night in a warm and dry bedroom! Excellent cheese scone, very original choice compared to other b&b!
Tips:When it rains, better to go kayaking in the sea than walking and getting wet without being equipped. White wave kayaking has great facilities. Recommended, definitely.

We can recommend a stay at Ronan House. On our trip through Scotland it was our best accomodation. The rooms were modern and comfortable. Anne & her husband are very cordial hosts. The breakfast is made with love. It is very fresh(homemade things) und you have a lot of choice. The property has a good starting point to the places of interest. We would come back anytime! :-)
Tips:Ask Anne, she can recommend nice restaurants (Edinbane Inn) and things to see.

A beautiful house in a stunning and peaceful location. Ronnie and Anne are a lovely, friendly couple who couldn't do enough for us. They gave us excellent suggestions where to visit during our 3-day stay - they know the area extremely well. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of it and the eggs were from the chickens. The rooms were beautifully decorated and were well equipped including free wifi. There is a lovely walk up the hill with stunning views around.
Tips:Had an excellent meal at the Edinbane Inn in the village. Ask Ronnie and Anne for suggestions of where to visit as they're extremely knowledgeable.
